Make a Difference!

There are many great organizations that educate, rehabilitate and make a huge difference to our natural world by existing. Listed below are a few that I have had experience with and recommend.


Colorado
Birds of Prey Foundation dedicated round the clock care to rehabilitate and release injured or orphaned raptors.

Connecticut:
Horizon Wings Raptor Rescue rehabilitates birds of prey. It is a non-profit organization that provides educational programming.

Maine:

Center for Wildlife in Cape Neddick, Maine  provides medical care, safe sanctuary and humane treatment for sick, injured and orphaned wildlife until they can be released back into the wild.

Massachusetts:
Drumlin Farm Wildlife Sanctuary is a Massauchusetts Audubon wildlife sanctuary, education center and a working farm! 

Wingmasters are two Massachusetts raptor rehabiliators who care for injured birds of prey, they dedicate their time to these magnificent birds and are often found using the birds that are permanently injured for educational purposes.

New Hampshire
Squam Lakes Natural Science Center The mission of the Squam Lakes Natural Science Center is to advance understanding of ecology by exploring New Hampshire's natural world. The Science Center is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) and is the only AZA-accredited institution in all of Norther New England.
